Why practice Yoga




When I gift myself time to attend a class or take a longer self-practice at home, it feels so special.


It's as if that practice is everything I'd be waiting for the day to be...

- Everything settles into place

- My mind feels clear

- My heart feels peaceful

- It feels fun and playful|


That time to check in with my body (not just my head—we all spend quite a lot of time there, right?!) reminds me to do more for myself.

Maybe it's not a full hour on the mat or even 10 minutes but

- A mindful breath here or there

- A moment to consider before I react

- A realisation of how lucky I am

- A pause to be grateful for someone or something


Yoga isn't always movement-based.
